Joe Diffie

With his 1990 debut album, A Thousand Winding Roads, Joe was the first country singer to earn a #1 hit on the first attempt, with his debut single "Home". He also garnered three additional Number Ones from the Gold album and was awarded Cashbox Magazine's "Male Artist of the Year" and Billboard Magazine's "Top Singles Artist" award. Diffie's album 'Twice Upon a Time' is his greatest hits collection.

Beyond his impressive chart successes, Diffie is also known for his charitable work. He was honored by the Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. as 1997's 'Humanitarian of the Year' and he annually hosts the Joe Diffie Charity Golf Classic. Joe is also a benefactor for the First Steps / Duncanwood School, a program for children with disabilities.
